Emsculpt neo
What is Emsculpt Neo?
Emsculpt NEO is the first FDA-cleared non-invasive procedure that builds and tones muscles while burning fat, combining radio frequency heating and focused electromagnetic waves into one therapy. Mild electrical currents are transmitted through a paddle to the body part you’d like to focus on: abs, glutes, calves, or upper arms. Emsculpt says the sensation is comparable to a hot stone massage. A minimum of four treatments spaced 5-7 days apart will achieve prolonged results. We also suggest that you don’t work out the muscles you’re focusing on during your treatment to avoid over stimulation. When receiving a 30 minute Emsculpt Neo treatment you will experience permanent fat dissolving, tighter skin with new collagen and elastin, no downtime, and an equivalent of 20,000 contractions.
Benefits
FDA approved and cleared treatment
Permanent cell death in targeted fat cells
Improves skin laxity, tone and texture in the targeted area
4 EMSCULPT NEO sessions are roughly equivalent to 12-16 weeks of HIIT.
Boosts metabolism
On average individuals experience 25% more muscle mass and 30% less fat with EMSCULPT
The Science
Builds skeletal muscle fibers, with up to a 25% increase in the targeted area confirmed with MRI imaging. A typical treatment stimulates 20,000 supramaximal muscle contractions in the targeted area. These are muscle contractions at maximum muscle capability beyond what is physiologically possible through human effort alone.
Patients treating the abdomen who have had a child or multiple children can experience up to a 20% correction in Diastasis Recti, the natural separation of the abdomen that occurs from pregnancy in women.
Noninvasive Lipolysis in the targeted area by permanently causing cell death in fat cells (which do not regenerate unlike other cells in the body). The 4 week protocol observed 5.9cm (approximately 6cm) reduction in waist circumference.
Improves skin laxity, tone and texture in the targeted area through RF (radiofrequency) stimulation of collagen and elastin. As we age fibroblasts become senescent (sleepy and dysfunctional) and decrease their production of vital skin proteins by 1% beginning around age 20. This compounded decline plus environmental damage and having children further affects our skin’s natural firmness, tone, and texture. This technology can act as fertilizer to stimulate these sleepy cells and produce a natural increase in tone over time.
