What is Lumecca IPL?
The Lumecca™ IPL therapy is a powerful and effective treatment in reducing and removing vascular lesions in the skin, from redness and spider veins. Lumecca™ IPL uses intense pulsed light through the delivery of specific wavelengths of light which interact with red pigments in the skin (hemoglobin). These pigments absorb the light energy and are destroyed.
BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT
We require that you not be tanned by direct sunlight or fake tan prior to this treatment as it may make the skin more liable to burn.
No anesthesia is required for treatment. Set aside 30 - 45 minutes for the full treatment (dependent on area).
What is the downtime?
The skin may feel tight and dry. Avoid sun exposure for at least 3 weeks after this treatment.

24 Hours After Treatment
It is possible your skin will feel tight and dry after the treatment. Life resumes as normal.
