IMO LIGHT GEL Peel
What is it?
A personalized combination of glycolic, lactic, madelic, and/ or salicylic acid that promotes new collagen, exfoliation, increase cell turnover, brightening, and control of acne breakouts.
What is the downtime?
No pertinent downtime - increased sensibility to UV light.
What to expect post treatment
You may experience warm sensations after treatment. Post-treatment redness is normal and temporary. Leave on SPF that is applied after the peel if you are going out into the sun. The peel is AHA/BHA based making the skin more sensitive to light.
24 Hours After Treatment
Do NOT apply any AHA’s, BHA’s, retinoids, or any other active ingredients for 3 days.
Do NOT expose yourself to direct sunlight. Indirect sunlight exposure is OK.
Do NOT apply any wax treatments to areas of the skin where the peel was applied. You can resume waxing 72 hours after treatment.​
Days After Your Treatment
Continue daily use of SPF. For three days after your treatment avoid retinoic serums, and AHA/BHA acids. Keep the skin moisturized with a thin layer of a gentle unscented moisturizer.
